Wrecking Ball is the second single and became her first number 1 single. It was released September 16th and the single has already gone platinum. There have been several covers of the single by Haim, Rumer Willis, and the Gregory Brothers.

Miley Cyrus is currently in the center of feud with singer Sinead O’Connor. The two singers have been infused in a social media battle with open letters back and forth between each other.

O’Connor has now written three open letters on Facebook to the twerking pop star, who retaliated against the Nothing Compares 2 U singer with tweets pointing out O’Connor’s past mental health issues, comparing her to Amanda Bynes.

Then O’Connor threatened to take legal action against her. The Bangerz singer responded by saying “ just too busy to get caught up in this because she’s prepping for her Saturday Night Live gig this weekend.”

On the heels of Miley’s SNL performance to promote Bangerz due October 8th. O’Connor was also known for a shocking performance back in the day during SNL. She made some comments about the then Pope. Scandalous!

2013 is not only the year of Healthcare but the year of the woman! Last year an election was won partially over women’s rights. This year the music industry is taken over by female artist. Katy Perry returns roaring with Prism, Lady GaGa drops the highly anticipated Artpop and Miley Cyrus introduces herself as an adult on the album full of Bangers, Bangerz. The perfect title for album which two singles have already controlled Billboard Charts and digital downloads for the entire summer.

A week before it’s official release iTunes allows fans to stream the full album.  Bangerz is surprisingly filled with mid tempo records and ballads. She also gives kudos to her country roots on 4X4 with Nelly. Drive was also another song scheduled to be on the album which was made available for streaming. The song was written in February and Miley stated in an interview with FASHION magazine that it was written about Liam. She knew the relationship wouldn’t last. A lot of the tracks on Bangerz including FU with French Montana is written about Liam.

She recently performed at the iHeart Radio festival in Las Vegas promoting Bangerz. Her performance was just as controversial as her VMA performance with Robin Thicke. But this time it garnered a lot of attention for it’s heartfelt message. Miley was in tears performing the single Wrecking Ball which gave even more speculation that the song is about her failed relationship with Liam Hemsowrth who has since moved on to Eiza Gonzalez. It was also stated by host Rebel Wilson that Miley’s management fired her from introducing Miley because of a joke she had planned.

After Miley ended her run as the popular Disney character Hannah Montana critics were sure that she would not be able to shake that image. For years she starred as the teenage girl who lived a double life as a pop star and regular girl. As she got older Miley worked on her music career following her father’s footsteps but there were constant comparisons to her character Hannah Montana. People expected the young starlet to take her music in that same direction and refused to see her growing up. In June she totally shook critics’ one-sided perspective of her with the single We Cant’ Stop. The song was an instant hit and the music video was even bigger.

We Can’t Stop serves as the first single for her album Bangerz. Miley joined RCA Records in 2012 leaving Hollywood Records. Under RCA she found more artist freedom being able to choose the producers she wanted to work with and the sound she wanted to create. With the new found freedom Miley totally took her image, music and career into a whole different direction and Bangerz is her emancipation from Hannah Montana era.

Bangerz First Listen , Drive Snippet

Yes we’ve got another snippet from Miley’s upcoming album Bangerz and yes this one is another Banger. We told you a few days ago that Miley confessed she knew the relationship with Liam was over a long time ago. Well in her FASHION magazine interview she apparently knew it was dead and gone back in February when we assumed things were all good. This was the time he has rumored to be emailing actress January Jones. In the song Drive she told Fashion magazine that it was written about Liam and that she wasn’t over him.

This is another hot track from the album and I am sooo excited about this.

We Can’t Stop was produced by Hip Hop producer Mike Will Made It. He has worked with the biggest in the rap industry including Future, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Drake and most recently Kelly Rowland. The young Atlanta rapper was the center of hundreds of rumors delivered by social media who claimed he was her new boo. Cyrus had posted photos of the duo working together on her album but with her suggestive poses and the fact that she and Liam’s relationship was on the rocks it was assumed that she had been messing around with Mike. In an interview with the Breakfast Club in NYC he gave his truth to the rumors stating they are only music partners. He went on to say that he wrote the song for a pop singer to sing but couldn’t figure out who. He shopped We Can’t Stop around to several labels but RCA was the first to pick it up and heard several other songs he had produced and asked him to work with Miley.

By the time Mike Will Made It and Miley began collaborating she had already been finished with Bangerz. The album had a different name then and a more house and dance music vibe. The album wasn’t completely what Miley wanted. RCA also stated that they didn’t feel the album had anything ready for the radio except Wrecking Ball. Mike WIll Made was just the man to deliver what she needed. They went to work on several songs and the label chose 8 songs for her album and made him the executive producer. Mike Will Made has stated Miley is really talented and throws shade to those critics who doubt her artistic integrity. We Can’t Stop was sent to radio airwaves and hit number 2 on Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The follow up single Wrecking Ball followed with similar success reaching number 1 becoming her first number 1 single on Billboard charts. The song was also nominated for an American Music Award.

So what can we expect from Bagerz? Bangerz is looking to be a fun Pop album with heavy Hip Hop influences. Britney Spears, French Montana, Juicy J, Big Sean, Nelly and Future all make guest appearances. 8 of the records were produced by Mike Will Made It and a few others were done by super producer Pharrell Williams.

Bangerz Adore You Full Song

Another hot track from the highly anticipated album from Miss Miley Cyrus. Adore You is produced Mike Will Made It. One of the 8 records she and the hottest Atlanta producer worked on. From the songs we’ve heard Wrecking Ball, Drive and now Adore You, it seems Cyrus is extremely vulnerable. The song lyrics and vocals are almost like a cry for attention and affection. Not in a desperate way but in a very artistic way she is speaking directly from the heart and hoping he (whoever that is) hears you and responds.
